Ah, melancholia *sigh*

Strumming my pain with his fingers
Singing my life with his words
Killing me softly with his song, killing me softly with his song
Telling my whole life with his words, killing me softly with his song *

There's a restless feeling knocking at my door today
There's a shadow hanging 'round my garden gate
I read between the lines of words you can't disguise
Love has gone away, and put these tears in my eyes

Look at the sky baby, see how it cries?
Ain't it just like my tears
Fallin' down like rain on the ground
Every time you say goodbye

Translation:
When was the last time that you saw stars with your eyes closed
and held on to someone's back like a castaway to the shore?
...
When was the last time that a simple deja vú brought me back to your arms?
When? When was the last time that you were loved so much?

Everything that goes up, must come down

Who said that? I don't know. But it's true. So yesterday ended on a low note despite having seen close friends and had some great fun. Today hasn't gotten any better. My low mood is circumstantial and not at all biological in nature (note: I'm not bipolar and I didn't go off my meds. Actually, I don't take meds.) This is all I have for now. Thanks for reading.

I'll leave you with some great lyrics:
Time
heals all wounds
but who can heal
who can heal time?
...

I flipped the hour glass
every time an hour passed
looking back at our past
I see that time is moving fast

The fabric of the universe
that catches every man
who walked around thinking
he had the world in his hands

I don't have it to waste
I don't have it to spare
I would like to spend my time
not having to care

P.S. This song has the best trumpet solo of the entire CD.
